It's been a fun few weeks, Painful wipes and ghost runs as we tackled the three hardest bosses Blizzard have thrown at us this patch, but in spite of the hiccups and needless wipes we finally got both Rotface and Festergut down in 25 man and the Mysti PuG stormed the Proffessor and demolished his laboratory.
The Bulletin!:
The Brave and fearless champions we have come to know and love once again put their lives at stake as the assaulted more of the Lich Kings minions, The abominations known as Festergut and Rotface, Led and commanded by the dastardly Professor F and his Vile gas.
Nose-pegs were handed out at the beginning of the Festergut battle to all those who needed them, Obviously not the owls as their feathers stink ten times worse.Rotface and his Mutated injections causing the brave heroes to well i don't know where in the lights name the oozes came from but *coughs* Not somewhere pleasant, both Tools of the Dastardly professor were Destroyed in a Culling of the plagueworks.
Chickens were sacrificed for the good of hungry soldiers bellies, Paladins and Priests prayed to their goddesses and the Light and Sued well... I don't want to know what he does.
But Finally we reached him! and in true Echoes fashion we triumphed over the professor and stopped his reckless and Dastardly experiments!
Good job Fair heroes Guild Mommy approves and may your blades continue to aim true

by Emanee/Emee, 55 days agoJust under a week ago the first assault upon Icecrown Citadel was made. Four encounters faced, and four passed.

The brave raiders were no doubt cold, but this didn't stop them moving onto Lord Jaraxxus and with snow still obscuring their clothes putting him to rest. An eyewitness described his confusion, with reports of him screaming 'Not the snowmen... NOOOOOOOOO!'.
Reports suggest that more of the Citadel will be infiltrated in the coming weeks, and that we will face the Lich King himself within it's chilly walls.
Well done guys, and keep it up.

by Mystikal / Adun, 63 days agoWith the ever-present threat of the Lich King looming ever closer, Echoes of Lordaeron stepped up their efforts to earn their rightful place beside the Argent Tournament and the Knights of the Ebon Blade for the invasion of Icecrown Citadel.
They knew that a decisive victory against a powerful opponent would be required to prove their worth - and so they entered the Argent Coliseum once more to slay the monstrous Beasts of Northrend!
Even on heroic mode they were no match for our heroes and Echoes were victorious!
Well done guys 'n' girls! Now get yourself ready for the Lich King!
by Mystikal / Adun, 72 days agoMany battles have been fought in the depths of Ulduar - the Keepers have been freed, mechanical monstrosities have been trashed and even Yogg-Saron has been vanquished.
Alas, it seemed they were only the precursor to an even bigger potential threat. Algalon the Observer, servant of the Titans themselves, arrived on Azeroth to judge our fate. Devoid of all emotion and using only cold logic, Algalon declared Azeroth to be unsaveable and set out to initiate 'Reply-Code Omega' - requesting that the Titans return and remake Azeroth.
Determined to prove Azeroth a worthy successor, Echoes of Lordaeron battled the mighty Observer - and emerged victorious!
Knowing that every loyal soldier had played their part, the guild accepted Brann Bronzebeard's invitation to stand before Rhonin, Leader of the Kirin Tor, to declare their victory:
Rhonin, understanding the last will of Algalon, sent his modified 'Reply-Code Alpha' to the heavens, so that the Titans themselves would see the valour and strength of Azeroth's inhabitants:

(If you haven't seen/heard of Heroes you won't get the cheerleader thing.)
Last night, while many Echoes slumbered a great tragedy was unfolding before our eyes. A mysterious character aiming to destroy the guild from within and plunder all our fish! Due to the quick thinking of those nocturnal, the higher powers were informed and the trouble swiftly stopped in it's tracks.
We give thanks to those who worked through the night and today to fix the issues, and thanks to all of the guild for rallying to support/help in anyway they can.
Thank you to Chillchaos, Jaenus, Naica, Dune and Arleyna, you saved our cheerleaders, helped save our heritage and our world.
