What are your primary roles during a raid? In my former guilds im used to beeing the main tank

Can you tell us about your previous raiding experiences? Ive raided every thing from tbc and up to clearing the first wing of icc10

Can you raid during our raid times? 19:00 to 23:00 on all days, except saturday. this raid time fits perfect

How many raids a week are you willing to participate in and can you commit to those raids a couple of days upfront? i can attend to raids about every day and i can usualy tell if i can attend 1-2 days upfront

What (difficult) achievements do you have that you consider relevant to the application? Why? Well since this is a rather new char i dont got many hard achives on it, but before i lvled this warrior i was a Dk tank and i downed sartharion 3D when it was the hardest fight in game.

What kind of computer hardware do you use? How many FPS are you getting in Dalaran and (raid) instances? i cant tell the spesific pc hardware im using but i usualy got 50-60fps in 25 man raids

Do you ever have latency problems? Usualy not

Please read our software requirements. Can you install and use the required AddOns on your computer? i will install and use any addons nessesary

Are you using any other addons? im using Bartender, x-perl, DBM, omen, titanpanel, recount, atlas loot.

It's important for us to make sure that our members will not violate any RP server rules, also means you cannot speak OOC (out of character) in RP chat channels, which are /s /y /e. Will you adhere to server policy? i know about the server rules and i obey them.

Can you briefly tell us about your characters personality? if bt this your talking about RP i just got to be honest, i dont do much RP and havent made a story behind my character.

When did you start playing WoW? i started playing wow in the end of vanilla

What areas do you think you could improve in and why? If you mean wich raid instances i can improve in, that would be icc because i havent gone any further than 4th boss,

PvE, PvP and RP? Which aspect(s) of the game you like better in which descending order and why? i like Pve best because thats what i fell for:P im also in to pvp abit, with my rogue.

How often (roughly) do you play WoW? (hours/day) 6-7 hours

Do you share your account with anybody? No and i will not do anything like it

What are your previous guilds on this server and reasons for leaving them? Ive been in The Exitium that was my own guild, we were doing some easy raiding(ulduar/toc) i left because i were simply sick of beeing GM. i were in Protest and i was Co GM/ officer, i got kicked in a major "Nerd rage" that our GM had and he kicked close to everyone.


How do you find gnomes? a) cute, b) evil or c) tasty Depends on what, where and when, tbh they are all of those things:D

Are you aware that if accepted, your guild master will be a gnome? And no, the previous question has no relevance with this one! No i actulay werent aware of that, but i dont care what raise ppl choose:)

Why do you want to join the Echoes of Lordaeron? Ive been raiding with some ppl in your guild (i dont remember names) and you seem like nice ppl with good progress aswell ofc

Why do you think we should choose you? I think you should choose me, because i got alot of exp as a tank, im a friendly and mature player and im a active player that you always can count on

Who can we contact for reference*? You can always contact Lookie, i met him in game while lvling and i guess he can answer your questions

Hi there i will take a closer look after the raid but for now you still have a lot of heroic items , and gemming for pure parry on some places.

A quick few on your talent build concluded it was not the "standard one" why you took improved rend for example is a riddle to me.

Only 1 achievement in ULD25 completed TOC10 did up to Valkyrs in ToC25 and only did the first wing of ICC10 and frist 2 bosses in ICC25.

Oky so far for the at a glance review i will extend it after the raid

Yea i know i dont got the standar specc, but i prefer improved rend over Gag order, i beat moste equaly geared tanks in threat with this specc. i also know that i got some hc items, mostly because i havent seen those items drop yet in raids.... and as i mentioned in the application, this is my latest 80, on my death knight i got moste raid achivements up to toc25, dont worry i know how to raid, and i know it well tbh, my death knight were also a tank.

That questions is for which sides of youre gameplay you can improve, not the actual dungeons!

You said you can tell if you can attend 1-2 days upfront. We use a signing system which means you sign for an entire reset. Signups close on Monday and then that signup will last until next reset, which you sign for during that setup. Basically it means you have to sign 1 week in advance, will that be a problem?

Otherwise, flere norske folk kan ikke skade!

The name of my Death Knight is actualy also Noaz but its on Frostmane server.

The name of the BT guild i were talking about was Quantum Chaos and i was in it with my mage at the time named Bromle (i know, wierd name:P) also on Frostmane.

I always have room to improve, but if i have to pick one side of the game that im not realy good at its Pvp and i could improve alot at pvp.

And signing up 1 week before the actual raid i can normaly do, but sometimes there might get stuff in the way that make me unable to raid, but thats just the way it is, and im pretty sure that goes for everyone

Looking over your application it seems fine to me. You have alot of experiance and used to be the.
I'd like to know what this nerd rage was about in <Protest>, can you go into more detaile?
When we ask you were you think you can improve we dont nessecarly mean instances, we mean your preformance in general.
Can you perhaps try to think if theres anywhere preformancewise you think you can improve?

The deal with Protest: i werent realy online at the time it happend, but i heard from ppl that some ppl left a guild raid in icc after w8ing 1,5 hours to get it started + the current GM was generaly sick of his rank, so he went crazy and kicked almoste everybody in the guild.

I dont know how i could improve my preformance, its hard to spot mistakes myself but i love when ppl tell me what im doing wrong so i can improve and dont do that mistake...etc again dont take me wrong, im not perfect and i prob got something to work on, i just find it hard to see it myself

Right looking at your character and starting at the gear, currently as it stands you are a level or so below the tanks we currently have in the guild, the large part of this is obviously down to your lack of much raiding on him tbh. However the gear you do have is well gemmed/enchanted which is always nice to see on any applicant.

The talent build isn't a standard one - although tbh i don't regard that as a huge factor, especially as the best tanks have always tended to be the ones who use the spec/build that works best for themselves imho.

Also I've had some quite positive comments to me about you, both in terms of you ability and your personality.

However as Miriel the recruitment officer stated previously we are currently VERY heavy on tanks and have a recruitment hold on any more unless the application classifies as exceptional, as it currently stands although yours is a very good application i would have to say that down to experience raiding on the warrior and your current gear you would not fall under this category. (the fact we have another prot warrior applicant applying at the same time with a LOT of raiding experience under his belt didn't help your chances if i'm being completely truthful).

Honestly theirs nothing worse as a Class Rep than having to potentially miss out on someone who you think could be a very solid addition to the guild, but in this instance i'm afraid i have to let my head rule my heart on the matter.

The final word on the matter obviously as always lies with our recruitment officer Miriel.

When your saying that its another prot warrior that is applying with alot of raid experience it sounds like i dont... ive raided pretty much every day since early tbc until last summer when i went on a break, and if your talking about raid exp in icc that shouldent be a problem cuz i normaly do fine even on my first attempt on a boss, + i always look up tacs before i come to a raid where i know i will face bosses i havent tryed before.

Well i hope your recruitment officer decides to give me a chance after all, thanks for looking at my apply atleast:)

Right this has been a rather tought decision to make, having two prot warrior who both seem to be skilled players and nice people. However I can only accept ONE of you because we dont have room to give the both of you a trial, regardless of the both of you being skilled players.

The reason why the choice came on your is because you seems to have slightly less experiance (not saying you dont have any at all ;)) and well lucky for Skalf, unlucky for you, Skalf has had alot of people replying in his post and vouching for him. Not saying that you should have spammed your friends to come and vouch for you it's just simply because he has a good reputation and a tiny bit more experiance than you.

When/if a spot opens up I'd like to see you reapplying. You seem like a nice guy and when we have room for you Im sure you will prove to us that you would be a asset to the guild.

Hi noaz, sucks you didnt get in, but I'm just trolling here and a few things come to mind ;p

I'd really really really reccomend you respec into 5/5 1h weapon specialisation and gag order, they are bread and butter talents and give a lot to the spec, its quite silly to skip them

Similarly taking improved rend isnt really a good idea, since rend is a very low threat per rage/gcd move now, even when improved and especialy with a tanking (faster than 2.0 speed) weapon

I'd really reccomend loosing the parry gem in your chest, and replacing the pure expertise gem in the shoulders with expertise/stamina.

And level JCing!!!!

Anyway have a little think about some of that, and good luck in the future
