You know your raid is undergeared when a feral druid is the clear DPS leader.
In high end raids hunters DPS is actually pretty insane

oh... yes I agree.
*remains silent not telling how many main dpsers Ashleey is out dpsing in kitty form eventhough he doesn't have the best pve dps gear* ^^

Well a feraldruid shouldn't be the best DPS:er, but they can get really high with some gear and skillz (power-shifting for example)

Equally geared, feral druid in kitty gear should be within 300dps of the leader.
So thus being able to go from Need-two-tanks-boss to the next, which might need just one, the ability to just shapeshift into a dps form and perform well makes 'em best offtank ingame.
This ability seems to be furthermore favored by blizzard, as at the current alpha build 3 points in survival will grant 6% crit immunity instead of the current 3%, which would make bear druids need absolutely ZERO +defence or resilience from gear to be crit immune. Which means more same kitty and bear gear = more effient OT status.
