I heard today that one of the best, if not the best, drummers in the world, James "Jimmy" Sullivan has passed away.
Jimmy is also known as The Reverend Tholomew Plague or shorter for The Rev.
He was the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold.
When I heard it, I almost instantly started crying. Yes, I'm that emo. The world has lost one of its greatest drummers, and this saddens me a lot.
I'm making a drum tribute to honor The Rev and what he's done to the fans of A7X.
R.I.P. Jimmy. May your soul rest playing drums.

Sad day indeed. I wasn't the biggest Avenged Fan, bit too mainstream for me, but they were immense at sonisphere and nobody can deny that the world of music has lost one of its greats today

Can I slap you ?
I don't really expect all of you to be familiar with the band or Jimmy. If you don't know either one, use google motherfuckers

But again......who? |
A drummer beyond compare, to be honest.
If you wish to see & hear how good he was, check A Little Piece of Heaven (live in LBC) out.
Probably their biggest song, though not the most popular & most played.

Yer, like your gonna die to natural causes.
Been reading up on this today seperately, seems a lot of fans think it's linked with the drug abuse. It's a great shame : /

As someone on another forum I frequent put it:

Sad but true.

I should get back at everyone who made fun of Michael Jackson when he died, and mock Jimmy, etc., but I'm too tactful/nice to do that. Always sad to see another good musician pass away.
