I just mentioned he should get it.
And for fights that swp drops off...you can alwaysswap ut trinket before the fight.
In addition NIC gives 100+ sp and sp is something that tring needs.
And idd perhaps some pieces of this initiate thread should be moved to priest forum "waves at moderators"

EotBM gives me 125sp however. But after some testing with the NIC, with the right timing, I can see why it's pulling ahead. Popping that trinket the second time just in time for a VT and DP refresh and the screens just spammed with crits providing a huge spike in my DPS.

It is idd a very nice trinket. At first you might catch yourself forgeting to use it since as u said u hate "use" trinkets. However, with a fair amount of practice u will get used to it
I used to have the same problem with use trinkets but I followed isvan's advice and binded it in a macro so now I use it every time its off cd.
The macro is:
/use Nevermelting Ice Crystal
/cast Shadow Word: Pain
Simple as that:)
P.S. Isvan is to be credited, I am sure he would tell u himself but he is on a break atm
I am supposed to be as well, but unlike him, I slack at studying

Already got this macro bound to Shift+1, and 1 is SWP by itself. Just incase I don't want to blow it on trash or something.

Usually it wont pose a prob since by the time the raid gets to the boss the cd will be off.
But u do have to have one binded swp and one unbinded to make sure u dont accidentally cast it on fights like eg saurfang on the bosses adds.
Btw I repeat again:) If u need any gems crafted I can make them for u
Have u considered changing those talent points Isvan told u?
And change that weapon. Mp5 makes me wanna cry XD

Need to get a weapon before I can change it :P
I've considered changing Talents, but I'd much rather just make another Shadow Spec on my secondary. I see you got Twins down last night, so you might find 15% less mana on Mindsear useful for AnubHM, depending on your tactic.

Now we're back to constructive, yet slightly off-topic posts again... ( )
May I advice to use a modifier in said macro..?
So you'll end up with something like this;
/use [mod:shift] Nevermelting Ice Crystal
/cast Shadow Word: Pain

It's proven to have more lag if you program the shift in the macro then when you actually keybind it to shift-1.
more lag aka: the reaction time is longer when u use the shift in the macro instead of keybinding it.

See your world through my eyes.
A universe so vast as to be imeasurable, incomprehensible, even to your greatest minds.

I... stand corrected then, I seriously didn't knew that...
If ya got a link to the math, much appreciated.
However, when talking min-maxing...
Binding the trinket to Shift-1, and then the ability to use to 1, requires 2 keystrokes...
Unless you use a well-configured G11/G15, you'll never be faster then the added lag... Right..?
Off-topic -- yeah, that's how I roll.

I'm happy to let you know you have been Accepted for trial in Echoes of Lordaeron. During this trial you will be expected to show your skills in raids and your attitude and teamspirit in and outside raids.
To make everything run as smoothly as possible we expect you to do the following things:
- Read the What to do after you got accepted? post, and follow the steps listed there.
- Read the Code of Conduct, our rules.
- Read our Raiding page. Our signup system is explained here.
- Install the EoL addon pack found in the code of conduct under software requirements.
- Check the 'Raids' thread for Sign-Up threads. The signups will open Friday and close on Monday evening. If you have missed this for the reset please check the Set Up thread and post when you can help out.
- Read tactics for bossfights you have not done before and are scheduled in to do with us.
I know this might be a lot to take in at first, but in the end it will save you and us a lot of time and confusion.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact your class representative or one of the officers.
Whisper one of the officers (Saraesa, Mystikal, Emee) in game for an invite to the guild.
Good luck!
